Nanjing-based KuickWheel Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. has introduced its international brand, Rictor, with the launch of the Skyrider X1, touted as the world’s first hybrid flying motorcycle.
The announcement was made at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, which runs from January 7 to 10.
The Skyrider X1 is positioned as a lightweight, cost-effective alternative to other low-altitude flying vehicles, designed for both land and air travel with retractable wheels.
Features include:
4-axis, 8-propeller system
Materials made from carbon fiber composites and aerospace-grade aluminum
A maximum flight speed of 100 km/h and flight duration of 40 minutes
A built-in 50 kW DC charging system for recharging
Automatic route planning to determine the most efficient flight path
Automatic adjustments for weather and environmental changes
Automated takeoff and landing
Manual control options, includes a joystick for users who prefer hands-on operation
Triple-redundancy flight control
A Battery Management System (BMS) designed for energy safety
An integrated emergency parachute
